Clean remaining surfaces, systems, assemblies, cavities, and components according to the residue, material, accessibility, and documented restoration goal.
15. Post-Fire Water Mitigation and Drying
Remove remaining water and dry affected materials based on actual moisture conditions, with documentation of readings, drying progress, containment, and equipment performance.
16. Pre-Reconstruction Inspection and Verification
Verify that required removal, concealed-area inspection, cleaning, remediation, drying, code review, and design requirements are complete and that remaining systems, assemblies, and materials are sanitary before rebuilding.
